P-pop girl group BINI has clinched the coveted top spot on the Billboard Philippines charts with their sensational hit single “Pantropiko” this week.
According to the latest data released by Billboard, “Pantropiko” ascended from the second spot during its sixth week on the chart, solidifying BINI’s status as a dominating force in the music scene.
The former chart-toppers, Ariana Grande’s “we can’t be friends (wait for your love)” and gins&melodies’ “Babaero” featuring Hev Abi, gracefully slid into the second and third positions, respectively.
BINI’s musical prowess further showcased as their track “Salamin, Salamin” secured the fourth slot, followed by a diverse array of hits including “End of Beginning” by Djo and two offerings from Hev Abi, “Walang Alam” and “Alam Mo Ba Girl.”
With members Mikha, Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Jhoanna, and Sheena, BINI burst onto the scene in 2021 with their debut single “Born to Win.” Since then, they have captivated audiences with chart-topping tracks like “Na, Na, Na,” “Huwag Muna Tayong Umuwi,” and “Lagi.”
March saw the release of BINI’s much-anticipated extended play “Talaarawan,” featuring viral sensations “Pantropiko” and “Salamin, Salamin,” which propelled the group to an impressive milestone of 1 million listeners on Spotify.
