An Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) experienced a heartwarming yet hilariously unexpected welcome home at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3. Joma Ramos, the uploader, captured his brother’s priceless reaction on social media after a surprising banner awaited him.
“Welcome Back,” the banner declared in bold letters, with a rather revealing picture of Jeffry, the returning OFW, below. The image, showcasing Jeffry presumably in his younger, less clothed days, served as both embarrassing and unforgettable for all involved.
Explaining the inspiration behind the unconventional welcome, Ramos shared, “Nakapanood po kasi ako sa before ng mga video na sinusundo sa airport ng may pakulo so sabi namen why not try namen katuwaan lang.” (“I’ve seen videos before where people were fetched at the airport with some gimmick, so we thought, why not try it for fun.”)
Despite the initial shock, Jeffry took the surprise in stride. “Cool naman po yang kuya ko kaya alam namin na kaya niyang sakyan ‘yung ganung biruan makukulit po talaga kasi kami magkakapatid,” Ramos remarked. (“My brother is really cool, so we knew he could take that kind of joke. We siblings are really mischievous.”)
