A new city check-in service has recently been inaugurated in Mussafah, catering to passengers traversing through Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi. This initiative marks the second establishment of its kind this year, following the introduction of a similar service in Yas Mall back in February, reports Khaleej Times.
The Morafiq check-in facility, situated in Mussafah’s Shabia-11 area, extends its services to travelers flying with Etihad Airways, Air Arabia, Wizz Air, and Egypt Air. This addition complements the existing check-in amenities at Terminal 1 of Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal in Zayed Port.
By offering this service closer to residential areas, particularly in Mussafah, travelers can now bid farewell to the inconvenience of commuting to distant locations for check-in. This initiative aims to ensure a seamless and comfortable travel experience for residents.
According to Morafiq, passengers can drop their bags between 24 to 4 hours before their flight departure and conveniently obtain their boarding pass, eliminating the need to endure long queues at the airport. This service operates daily from 10 am to 10 pm.
The collaborative effort between Etihad Airport Services, Abu Dhabi Airports, and OACIS Middle East has facilitated the implementation of this service, aiming to streamline travel procedures and enhance passenger satisfaction.
