Light rains are forecasted to hit the eastern coast of the UAE on Tuesday, August 20, as per the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM). The rainfall is anticipated due to the development of low clouds in the region.
Although some residents in eastern areas may experience rain, most of the UAE will have a partly cloudy day. The weather could become cloudy at times, particularly in southern and eastern areas.
On Monday, scattered light rains were reported in the eastern parts of the country, including some roads in Fujairah, as shared by Storm Centre.
Temperatures are expected to reach up to 47ºC in internal areas, while mountainous regions may see a drop to as low as 26ºC. Light to moderate winds, occasionally freshening, may cause dust and sand, particularly in northern and eastern areas. The sea conditions are expected to range from slight to moderate, becoming rough at times in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.
