BAHRAIN — La Paz Batchoy Restaurant emerged as champions of the Filipino Club Basketball Group (FCBG) APH Super Elite Division Ambassador’s Cup, defeating Mabuhay Basketball 65–60 in a hard-fought finals showdown on August 21, 2026 at the Muharraq Club Basketball Gym.
The championship game lived up to expectations, with both teams battling intensely from the opening minutes until the final buzzer. La Paz Batchoy Restaurant showed composure and teamwork in crucial moments, holding off Mabuhay Basketball to secure the five-point victory and claim the coveted championship title.
Mabuhay Basketball mounted a determined challenge throughout the game, matching La Paz Batchoy’s intensity and keeping the contest close. Despite falling short in the finals, the team finished as the runner-up and silver medalist, earning recognition for its strong campaign and fighting spirit.
Nielle Manacpo played a key role in La Paz Batchoy Restaurant’s championship run, earning the Finals Most Valuable Player (MVP) award for his standout performance. His leadership, consistency, and timely contributions helped propel the team to victory and played a crucial part in securing the championship title.
