Kim Chiu, one of the hosts of “It’s Showtime” who recently joined the Kapuso network, expressed openness to collaborating with her ex-boyfriend Xian Lim, who is also now a Kapuso artist.
In an interview with GMA News’ “Saksi” by Cata Tibayan on Thursday, Kim was asked if she is willing to work with Xian again. She replied, “Ok lang naman. Mag-guest siya sa It’s Showtime or mag-prod siya,” adding, “Hindi naman kami magkaaway.”
The confirmation of their breakup came in December last year after nearly 12 years of being together.
Kim expressed her excitement about exploring new opportunities in her career. “Panahon ngayon para subukan niya at maranasan ang mga bago,” she said.
When asked about potential collaborations with Kapuso stars, Kim mentioned Marian Rivera, Barbie Forteza, Jennylyn Mercado, Dennis Trillo, and “Black Rider” leading man Ruru Madrid.
Meanwhile, another “It’s Showtime” co-host, Karylle, is looking forward to bonding with the new cast of Encantadia. Karylle, who portrayed Sanggre Alena in the original Encantadia series in 2005, expressed eagerness to share experiences with the new cast.
“It will be really good to have a bonding day with them,” said Karylle. She added that they might share with the new cast how the series became a significant part of people’s lives.
The new chapter of Encantadia will feature Bianca Umali, Faith Da Silva, Kelvin Miranda, and Angel Guardian in the lead roles.
“It’s Showtime,” which is close to celebrating its 15th anniversary, will start airing on GMA 7 alongside GTV starting April 6.
