KaladKaren, the “Drag Race Philippines” judge, has tied the knot with long-time partner Luke Wrightson in a dreamy wedding ceremony at Scarborough, North Yorkshire, England. The couple exchanged vows in what KaladKaren described as a “wedding in the clouds,” as the scenic views of the cliffside venue were hidden by thick fog.
Jervi Li, known by her drag name KaladKaren, wore a stunning mermaid-cut gown designed by Filipino designer Francis Libiran. Meanwhile, Luke donned a sharp white tuxedo with black accents paired with black slacks.
Despite the foggy weather, KaladKaren remained positive, sharing on Instagram: “Luke and I dreamed for a beautiful sunny day in this fantastic cliff top wedding venue in England. On our wedding day, ironically, the views were covered by a thick fog! It was almost zero visibility!”
Unfazed by the unexpected weather, she added, “And hey, who else can say they got married in the clouds?”
The wedding comes after the couple’s second engagement in July, with the first proposal happening in 2020 after eight years together.
