Chickenjoy is again America’s favorite fast-food fried chicken, with Jollibee’s flagship item topping USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards for a third straight year.
The award, decided by public balloting among USA Today readers, names Chickenjoy the No. 1 Best Fast Food Fried Chicken in the United States. Nominees for the program are put forward by a panel of experts before the final ranking is settled through reader votes.
Ernesto Tanmantiong, global president and chief executive officer of Jollibee Group, framed the win as evidence that the brand’s standards have held up over time. “Receiving this recognition for the third consecutive year is especially meaningful because it reflects the consistency of the quality, taste, and customer experience that we work hard to deliver with every serving of Chickenjoy,” he said in a statement.
He tied the honor to the company’s push into new territory. “It gives us even greater confidence in Jollibee’s ability to deepen customer trust and brand love in more markets, as we continue bringing the products and experiences that have made our brand a source of joy for many families,” he added.
The crispy-coated, juicy fried chicken has served as Jollibee’s lead product abroad, drawing in diners well beyond the Filipino communities that first embraced the chain. That reach is backed by scale: the company runs roughly 100 outlets in North America and upwards of 1,800 restaurants globally, ranking it among the world’s fastest-expanding restaurant names.
Maribeth dela Cruz, president of Jollibee Philippine Brands North America, credited both patrons and staff for the latest result. “We are deeply grateful to the USA Today readers who voted for Jollibee and to our loyal customers who continue to share their love for the brand,” she said.

The distinction joins a run of earlier praise from American food media, including Eater.com’s Best Fast-Food Fried Chicken nod in 2022 and Thrillist’s Best Chain Fried Chicken in America ranking in 2021.
