Ras Al Khaimah’s Jebel Jais mountain is offering complimentary activities for children during the Eid Al Fitr holidays and spring school break, with free meals and zipline access available to younger visitors across a six-day window.
The UAE’s highest restaurant, 1484 by Puro, is waiving dining costs for children under 16 accompanied by a paying adult from March 17 to 22. Set at the peak of the mountain, the venue draws visitors with its views over the Hajar Mountains and its reputation as the most elevated dining spot in the country.
Alongside the restaurant offer, children under 16 can also access Jais Flight at no charge when visiting with an adult. The zipline — recognised as the longest of its kind in the world — takes riders across the mountain at speed, with the surrounding terrain visible throughout. A minimum weight of 40kg applies to participants.
The initiative positions Jebel Jais as a family destination during what is typically one of the busiest travel periods in the UAE calendar. Other experiences available on the mountain include the Jais Sky Tour, the open-air Red Rock dining venue, and Bear Grylls Explorers Camp, which runs outdoor adventure programmes for younger visitors.
The complimentary dining offer at 1484 by Puro runs through March 22, with the free zipline access applying to the same age group throughout the promotional period.
