A text message from actor Jake Cuenca, read aloud by talent manager Loi Villarama on Ogie Diaz’s YouTube vlog, has put an end to speculation about his romantic status with Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo.
“Hi, Mama Loi, yes, it’s true. It’s safe to say that she makes me happy and we’re exclusively dating at the moment,” Cuenca’s message read.
The confirmation comes after the pair drew public attention when they were seen together during an outing in Taguig City in March. Cuenca had also been visible in Rabiya’s social media orbit, commenting on her Instagram posts — including one taken in Chiang Rai, Thailand, where he described her as “breathtaking.”
Both came into the relationship out of separate breakups. Rabiya disclosed in September 2025 that she had ended her relationship with Jeric Gonzales. Cuenca, for his part, split from actress Chie Filomeno the following month, in October 2025.
Prior to the vlog confirmation, Cuenca had accompanied Rabiya to the birthday celebration of Kapuso child star Sienna Stevens, a joint appearance that further fueled public interest in the nature of their relationship.
