Senator Imee Marcos took on a dual acting challenge in her newest short-form video, portraying both the imperious Miranda Priestly and her harried assistant Andrea Sachs from the 2006 film The Devil Wears Prada.
The clip sees Marcos switching between the two characters — Priestly, originally portrayed by Meryl Streep, and Sachs, played by Anne Hathaway — before landing on the film’s widely recognized closing line, “Emily, that’s all.”
A title card bearing the words “Imee Marcos: The Devil Wears Prada” closes out the video, which drew swift reactions and shares from users across platforms.
The reel carries no stated policy message. Marcos has not linked the content to any legislative or political agenda.
The senator’s affinity for the film is not new. An earlier reel under the “Choose your actress” format showed Marcos expressing her fondness for The Devil Wears Prada, with Anne Hathaway coming out as her preferred pick among the cast.
