Members of the Confederation of Ilocano Association Inc. – Samahang Ilokano UAE (CIASI UAE 61892 SOLID JUMA) – Ras Al Khaimah Chapter gathered at the Blood Bank of Saqr Hospital on Sunday, May 3, 2026, for their annual blood donation drive, with 20 donors from all six chapters of the organization taking part in the activity.
The drive, held from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, brought together members from across the UAE’s CIASI chapters in a unified show of community service. Organizers said the initiative has been conducted yearly at the same venue, underscoring the group’s long-standing partnership with Saqr Hospital — one of the leading hospitals in Ras Al Khaimah and a Ministry of Health and Prevention-accredited facility that supplies blood to multiple hospitals across the emirate.
The blood donation drive is part of a broader pattern of community outreach by CIASI UAE 61892 SOLID JUMA, which has previously organized Iftar distributions and sports events across its chapters in Dubai, Sharjah, and Ras Al Khaimah.
Organizers emphasized that blood donations directly support patients requiring emergency care, surgeries, and long-term medical treatment, with a single donation potentially benefiting multiple recipients.
