This season introduces HBO’s innovative “Dueling” trailers, showcasing the escalating tension in Westeros as it teeters on the edge of a brutal civil war. The conflict pits the Green and Black Councils against each other, supporting King Aegon and Queen Rhaenyra, respectively.
“House of the Dragon,” a prequel set 200 years before the events of “Game of Thrones,” explores the saga of House Targaryen, based on George R.R. Martin’s “Fire & Blood.” The upcoming season, comprising eight episodes, will delve deeper into the fracturing realm as viewers are invited to choose sides in the Targaryen civil war.
The returning cast includes Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, and others, with new faces such as Abubakar Salim and Freddie Fox joining the ensemble. The series is co-created by George R.R.
