Star Cinema and GMA Pictures have unveiled the second teaser for their highly anticipated film, Hello, Love, Again, which pays tribute to the struggles and resilience of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs). Released on September 16, 2024, the teaser showcases a heartfelt portrayal of the challenges OFWs face as they strive to build better lives for their families back home.
The two-minute teaser begins with a familiar scene of Joy, played by Kathryn Bernardo, from the 2019 hit Hello, Love, Goodbye, standing in front of a flight information board—symbolizing the emotional journey of leaving home. The video quickly transitions to poignant moments familiar to many OFWs, including images of airplanes, luggage carousels, and the timeless phrase, “Home is where the heart is, and saying goodbye is never easy.”
Drawing from iconic Star Cinema films such as Anak (2005), Dubai (2005), and Hello, Love, Goodbye (2019), the teaser revisits scenes that depict the sacrifices made by OFWs in their quest for a better future. The message is clear: despite the distance and challenges, their love for their families makes every hardship worthwhile.
As the video progresses, real-life OFWs are featured, showcasing their journeys abroad and the bonds they form with fellow workers. The emotional teaser ends with the line, “Para sa mga taong nangangarap, we say ‘I love you’ by saying goodbye. This year, we will come home. We will love again. We will find joy.”
The teaser concludes with a cliffhanger as Ethan, played by Alden Richards, spots Joy at an airport and runs toward her, leaving viewers eagerly anticipating the sequel’s release on November 13, 2024.
