Jungwon, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Ni-ki will carry Enhypen forward as a six-member act after the group’s agency confirmed the departure of founding member Heeseung on Tuesday via a post on X.
Belift Lab cited diverging artistic directions as the reason behind the split. “Through in-depth discussions with each of the members about the future they envision and the direction of the team, it became clear that Heeseung has his own distinct musical vision and we have decided to respect it,” the agency said.
Heeseung will not be leaving the label entirely — Belift Lab confirmed he will remain under their management as a solo artist. “Enhypen remains committed to sharing energetic performances with Engene. Heeseung will be preparing a solo album as an artist under Belift Lab,” the statement added.
The group built their catalog around tracks such as “Bite Me,” “No Doubt,” “Drunk-Dazed,” and “XO (Only If You Say Yes).” Filipino fans have had recent opportunities to see them live — the group held a fan meeting in the Philippines in December 2024 under their “Des7ined” event, and returned in March 2025 for their “Walk the Line” tour stop at the Philippine Sports Stadium in Bulacan.
