The Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism has opened registration for A Dubai Invite, a city ambassador initiative that hands UAE residents and citizens a package of travel and lifestyle rewards in exchange for encouraging overseas relatives and friends to make the trip.
Qualifying residents can claim benefits valued above AED 3,000, spanning hotel accommodations, dining, attraction admissions and other lifestyle offers. The reward bundles stay usable through December 31, 2026, unless a specific offer states otherwise.
Sign-ups run through an online nomination form, where a resident logs the details of an incoming guest ahead of that guest’s arrival. Up to five visitors can be listed in a single submission, and anyone wanting to name more can file additional forms. A cap applies on the resident’s side as well: no participant may collect more than three reward packages across the campaign.
Eligibility on the host side requires being a UAE resident or citizen at least 18 years old and carrying a valid Emirates ID. On the guest side, nominees must be non-residents traveling on a valid tourist visa or qualifying for visa on arrival, and they must reach Dubai by air, sea or road within the July 20 to October 31, 2026 window. The program handles no visa processing whatsoever, leaving each visitor to secure the necessary entry documents independently.
Once a nominated guest lands, the system confirms the arrival on its own, so residents have no obligation to alert DET. A confirmation email carrying the reward package and redemption steps follows within 72 hours of that verified entry, and DET has said the rewards themselves begin going out from August 2026.
A single visitor can be entered only one time. Should someone already appear under another resident’s nomination, any later attempt to register that same person is rejected.
