The UAE’s largest annual celebration of Philippine Independence is returning next month, with organisers promising a full-scale cultural event that goes beyond entertainment.
Kalayaan 2026 is set for June 7 at Dubai World Trade Centre Halls 1 and 2, brought together by Emirates Loves Philippines, Infinite Communities, and The Filipino Channel, with logistical backing from D&R Elegant Events and Urban Grid Group with VivaOne. Admission is free.
Among the confirmed performers are actress and recording artist Arci Munoz, P-pop girl group G22, and boy group Ist.One — acts that signal the event’s ambition to deliver a concert-level experience within a broader community celebration.
Beyond the main stage, Kalayaan 2026 will feature cultural presentations from Filipino community groups across the Emirates, interactive exhibits, family-friendly activities, and a Kalayaan Food Village offering Filipino and multicultural cuisine.
The event carries the backing of the Philippine Embassy, Philippine Consulate General Dubai and Northern Emirates, the Migrant Workers Office, Dubai Police, Positive Spirit, Hemaya International, and the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs-Dubai.
The official launch was held at B-Hub inside BurJuman Mall, drawing community leaders, government representatives, sponsors, media, and partners. Among those present were Consul General Ambrosio Enciso III, Emirates Loves Philippines Head of Content Ms. Ruba Nesly, ABS-CBN EMEA Regional Events Business Unit Head Ms. Audielyn Avecilla-Riola, and Infinite Communities Founder and CEO Elena C. Cruz.
Kalayaan 2026 carries the theme: Feel the Freedom. Share the Peace.
