MANAMA, Bahrain — Fresh from its championship win in the Philippine Bahrain Volleyball League (PBvL) One-Night Volleyball League, the Filipino American Association of Bahrain (Fil-Am Bahrain) continued its winning run after defeating Team Dilenatharu in the Beary’s Volleyball League Tournament on 11 September 2026 at the A’ali Cultural & Sports Club.
Fil-Am Bahrain secured the victory with scores of 15-10 and 15-7, earning another strong result as the team continued its impressive run on the Bahrain volleyball circuit.
Only four teams advanced to the semifinals—Fil-Am Bahrain, Dig Chivas, Dilenatharu, and KSB—setting the stage for another competitive round among some of the tournament’s top-performing teams.
Fil-Am Bahrain players also took home individual honors, with AJ Verzosa receiving the Best Attacker award and team captain RB “Bryce” Torres being named Best Setter.
According to team manager Grace Estacio, the team is also welcoming new players who have added fresh energy and depth to the group. Among the newcomers are Joy Dela La Peña, Gladys Zapanta, and Ivy Cuevas.
For Fil-Am Bahrain, the latest victory is another encouraging chapter following its recent PBvL championship, demonstrating the players’ continued commitment, teamwork, and love for the sport.
Beyond the wins, the team continues to build camaraderie and create opportunities for Filipino athletes in Bahrain to compete, grow, and support one another on and off the court.
