Passengers leaving Dubai for the capital by train will be able to board as early as 6:14 a.m. and arrive in Abu Dhabi at 7:18 a.m., based on schedules now listed on Etihad Rail’s booking platform.
The national rail operator has put seats on sale for its Dubai services ahead of the city station’s opening on September 30, 2026. Bookings cover two routes: the Dubai–Abu Dhabi corridor and a link between Dubai and Fujairah.
Five trains a day are scheduled out of Dubai toward Abu Dhabi. After the 6:14 a.m. service, departures follow at 7:14 a.m., 1:14 p.m., 5:14 p.m. and 6:14 p.m., reaching the capital at 8:18 a.m., 2:18 p.m., 6:18 p.m. and 7:18 p.m., respectively. Every trip on the corridor is timed at one hour and four minutes.
Travelers starting in Abu Dhabi have two morning options, at 6:43 a.m. and 7:43 a.m., which pull into Dubai at 7:47 a.m. and 8:47 a.m. Three later trains leave the capital at 12:43 p.m., 4:43 p.m. and 5:43 p.m., with Dubai arrivals at 1:47 p.m., 5:47 p.m. and 6:47 p.m.
The Fujairah route runs one train in each direction. The eastern emirate’s departure is set for 11:54 a.m., arriving in Dubai at 1:04 p.m., while the return leaves Dubai at 1:57 p.m. and reaches Fujairah at 3:07 p.m. Both legs take one hour and 10 minutes, and fares start at AED 29 in Comfort class and AED 89 in Premium.
Dubai becomes the latest city added to a passenger network that began operating on June 30 with trains between Abu Dhabi and Fujairah. Etihad Rail plans to open further stations over the coming months under its operational timetable, bringing more population centers and economic hubs onto the national line.
On the Abu Dhabi–Dubai corridor, Comfort seats start at AED 39 and Premium at AED 109. Premium pricing is not uniform across all departures, however, with one Dubai-to-Abu Dhabi journey listed at AED 129.
