Dubai’s Hatta sign breaks Guinness World Record for ‘tallest landmark sign’

Dubai, known for its penchant for setting world records, has added another feather to its cap.

The Hatta sign, located in the stunning Hajar mountains, has been recognized by the Guinness World Records as ‘The Tallest Landmark Sign’, according to the Dubai Media Office.

Measuring at an impressive 19.28 metres, the Hatta sign has surpassed the iconic Hollywood sign, which stands at 13 metres.

Hatta is a popular holiday destination in Dubai, famous for its mountainous terrain, valleys, and various water bodies.

As Hatta Resorts prepares to kick off its sixth season, visitors can hike up the mountain in a 30-minute journey to witness awe-inspiring 360-degree views.

Adding to the spectacle, the Hatta sign is illuminated in the evenings.

In addition to taking in the breathtaking views, tourists can participate in a wide range of outdoor activities.

These include ziplining, mountain biking, rock climbing, zorbing, archery, and axe-throwing, as highlighted by the Dubai Media Office.

For those looking for a unique stay, the destination also offers glamping options like trailers, lodges, domes, and caravans, ensuring a memorable experience for all.
