Nine vendors at Flayva, the street food hall inside Al Ghurair Centre in Deira, will serve select menu items for AED 2 each during a five-day anniversary celebration running from April 21 to 25.
The discounted bites — available daily between 5pm and 7pm — span a range of cuisines and concepts. Bacolod Inasal BBQ is offering small portions of Okoy, Pichi-Pichi, and Buko Pandan. Siomai House will sell two-piece siomai orders at the same price, while Hangry Joe’s is putting up chicken wings. Affordacup joins with its empanada, and Simply Indian is serving two flavours of Pani Puri. Sizzling Steak offers a steak skewer and pasta, B60 a lemonade, Shan Village fried tofu or chicken ball, and Zutto Sukki shoyu or tan tan.
The food hall, which opened in 2024 inside what is billed as Dubai’s first shopping mall, recorded a 57% rise in visitor numbers between 2024 and 2025. Two new vendors have recently come aboard: Potato Corner, the Filipino franchise known for its flavoured fries, and Tasty Shawarma, which serves Syrian-inspired street food.
Evening entertainment runs across the five days, with live bands performing from 8pm to 9:30pm and carnival acts — magicians, stilt walkers, and jugglers — from 6pm to 8pm. A kids’ art and craft corner in partnership with GLITCH offers free face painting and slime-making sessions from 4pm to 10pm.
Guests can also enter Al Ghurair Centre’s separate Spend & Win campaign, which is running from April 20 to June 14 and includes a draw for a MHERO car on June 19.
