Former Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray and her fiancé, actor Sam Milby, made a public appearance together, putting an end to speculation about their relationship status. The couple attended an industry event in support of fellow celebrity Isabel Oli, subtly dismissing rumors of a possible breakup.
The sighting occurred during Isabel Oli’s trade-launch gathering event at BSK Club Manila in Taguig on Saturday, Feb. 24. Catriona and Sam were seen seated beside each other, with Catriona affectionately wrapping her arm around Isabel.
The appearance comes in the wake of rumors sparked by talent manager and showbiz insider Ogie Diaz, who claimed in a vlog that the couple had parted ways but remained friends, citing an anonymous source. However, Catriona and Sam’s attendance at the event suggests otherwise.
Ogie Diaz had previously hinted at a split, noting that Catriona wasn’t wearing her engagement ring in recent photos. However, Catriona addressed the speculations in an Instagram post earlier this month, sharing photos of a weekend staycation with Sam and their pets.
The couple got engaged in February 2023 and are expected to tie the knot this year. Their relationship became public when Sam went “Instagram official” with Catriona on his birthday in 2020.
