Interior Secretary Benhur Abalos released the official mugshot of Apollo Quiboloy, founder of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC), and his co-accused on Tuesday, as part of the ongoing legal proceedings against them.
In a statement on social media, Abalos emphasized the importance of law enforcement. “‘No one is above the law.’ Ito po ang opisyal na mugshot nina Apollo Quiboloy at iba pa, kaugnay ng kanilang mga kinakaharap na kaso sa ating bansa,” he wrote.
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. clarified that while there has been no formal request from the United States for Quiboloy’s extradition, the televangelist would first face trial in the Philippines before any potential extradition could take place.
