Bahrain school for Filipino professionals gets international education accreditation

A Bahrain-based professional education and healthcare training institution has secured international accreditation, adding to its growing profile as a provider of globally recognized qualifications in the Kingdom.

GEMS Global Institute has been formally recognized by the International Qualifications and Awards (IQA) as an approved centre under Centre Number IQACN-2288. The designation confirms the institute’s alignment with international standards covering education delivery, learner support, assessment practices, and quality assurance.

The institute offers programs in healthcare education, caregiving, nursing assistant training, professional development, and workforce readiness, with a stated emphasis on competency-based and hands-on learning.

President and CEO Gem B. Reyes described the institute’s purpose in terms of individual transformation and career opportunity.

“Education is a powerful tool that can change lives and open doors globally. At GEMS Global Institute, our goal is to provide accessible, internationally recognized, and career-oriented programs that empower individuals to succeed professionally and personally,” Reyes said.

The IQA accreditation is the latest formal recognition for the institute, which positions itself as a contributor to Bahrain’s broader goal of developing a skilled and globally competitive workforce. By housing internationally accredited programs within the Kingdom, GEMS Global Institute aims to serve professionals seeking qualifications that carry weight both locally and in overseas job markets.

The institute caters to students of varied nationalities and professional backgrounds.
