Ajman Transport Authority announced on Sunday the new taxi fare rates that will be implemented starting July. The updated rate is set at Dh1.82 per kilometre, slightly reduced from last month’s rate of Dh1.83 per kilometre.
This adjustment follows the UAE’s fuel price committee’s announcement of the new fuel prices for the month. Starting in July, Super 98 petrol will cost Dh2.99 per litre, Special 95 petrol will be priced at Dh2.88 per litre, E-Plus 91 petrol will be Dh2.80 per litre, and diesel will be Dh2.89 per litre.
The reduction in fuel prices by up to 15 fils per litre means that refueling a vehicle will be cheaper by Dh7.14 to Dh11.11, depending on the type of fuel used.
