Residents and tourists in Dubai can now report crimes at petrol stations

Dubai Police have introduced a new initiative, On-the-Go, allowing individuals to report crimes, suspicious activities, and accidents at petrol stations across the city. Partnering with Emirates National Oil Company (Enoc), Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), and Emarat, Dubai Police aim to enhance security measures and ensure prompt action on reported incidents.

The initiative, hailed as the first of its kind globally, operates at 138 petrol stations across Dubai. Trained staff from 11 entities, including Enoc, Adnoc, and Emarat, are equipped to assist customers in reporting violations.

First Lieutenant Majid bin Saed Al Kaabi, head of the “On-the-Go” initiative, emphasized its significance in bolstering safety measures. He highlighted the role of the initiative in engaging the community and fostering a collaborative approach to security.

This initiative is an extension of the Police Eye services, accessible through the Dubai Police app, website, and police stations. Over the past five years, Police Eye has received over 108,100 tips, covering various crimes and violations, including traffic offenses, abuse cases, and illicit activities.

Dubai Police have urged the public to utilize the Police Eye app or call 901 to report any road safety violations promptly.
