A Pasay court has issued an arrest warrant for Toni Fowler, a prominent vlogger, following allegations of her involvement in the production and dissemination of “obscene” content in her music videos. The warrant was released by the Pasay Regional Trial Court-Branch 108, citing an alleged violation of Article 201 of the Revised Penal Code in relation to Section 6 of the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012.
The court has set the bail at P120,000, marking a significant development in the case that stemmed from the complaints filed by the Kapisanan ng Social Media Broadcasters ng Pilipinas (KSMBP) in September 2023. The KSMBP has accused Fowler of crossing the lines of freedom of expression with the obscene lyrics and acts featured in her videos.
