The Security Industry Regulatory Agency (SIRA) has finalized its extensive preparations for the New Year’s celebrations in Dubai, authorizing over 45 fireworks displays across 32 locations. The agency has closely monitored the transportation of more than 38,000 tonnes of fireworks in collaboration with Dubai Police, ensuring safety and compliance.
To guarantee a secure celebration, SIRA’s inspection teams conducted meticulous checks at all fireworks sites. They assessed safety measures, display durations, and audience protection to uphold the highest standards of security.

In anticipation of large crowds, SIRA emphasized the importance of emergency evacuation plans and public safety. Only specialized fireworks companies with proven expertise are permitted to manage these displays, ensuring a safe and spectacular experience for all attendees.
Additionally, strict licensing requirements are in place for fireworks companies. They must provide skilled experts, technicians, and specially equipped vehicles to handle the fireworks safely. SIRA is also actively training technicians and drivers through courses and workshops to enhance safety measures further.
