Andrea Brillantes and SB19 members Josh Cullen Santos and Ken Suson have been named in the prestigious 2023’s ‘Most Beautiful and Handsome Faces’ list by TC Candler and the Independent Critics.
Andrea Brillantes made a significant impact by securing the 16th spot in “The Most Beautiful Faces of 2023,” marking her debut on this annual list. She emerged as the highest-ranked Filipina in the Top 20, as revealed in a video on TC Candler’s YouTube channel on Thursday, Dec. 28.
The list also featured other prominent Filipinas, including Ivana Alawi (21st), Liza Soberano (28th), who previously topped the list in 2019, Janine Gutierrez (45th), and Belle Mariano (71st). Topping the global chart was Nancy McDonnie of Momoland, followed by Russian model Dasha Taran and Twice’s Minatozaki Sana.
Notably, Blackpink members Jisoo, Rosé, and Lisa, along with Ariana Grande and Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu, also graced the list.
On the men’s side, SB19’s Josh and Ken made their first appearance on “The Most Handsome Faces of 2023,” ranking 71st and 34th, respectively. Fellow Filipinos, Kyler Chua and Reyster of HORI7ON, were also featured prominently at 27th and 58th places.
Timothée Chalamet topped the men’s list, a recognition he’s held six times, with Henry Cavill coming in second. The list also included Chris Hemsworth, BTS’s Jungkook, Zayn Malik, and Chris Evans among others.
TC Candler and The Independent Critics create this list with a panel of 20 people, aiming to redefine beauty standards globally. Their selection criteria go beyond aesthetic appeal, emphasizing grace, elegance, originality, and other virtues. Over 100,000 celebrities worldwide are considered for this honor each year, as stated on their official website.
