The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), through its Pre-Employment and Government Placement Bureau (PEGPB), has opened applications for 200 factory worker positions in Taiwan under a government-to-government special hiring arrangement.
The jobs are with I-Mei Foods Co., Ltd., a Taiwanese food manufacturer, covering production of bakery, dairy and beverage, confectionery, prepared food, and biotechnology and macrobiotic products. Under Recruitment Specification Form (RSF) No. 260029-A, the employer is looking to hire 150 male and 50 female workers.
The posting lists a gross monthly salary of NT$29,500. The form pegs this at roughly P58,456.79 using an exchange rate of 1 TWD to P1.98, though current market rates sit closer to P1.90 per TWD, which would place the peso equivalent somewhat lower.
To qualify, applicants must be high school graduates aged 25 to 40, physically and medically fit with good eyesight, and free of color blindness and tattoos. Height requirements are set at 165 cm for men and 155 cm for women, with weight ranges of 60 to 85 kilograms for men and 45 to 65 kilograms for women. Applicants must also have good oral and written English, be willing to work overtime and shifts, and comply with cleaning assignments.
Recruitment will be by personal interview, with the exact dates for deployment and interviews to be announced. The application period at the DMW Central Office and Regional Offices runs September 16 to 18, 2026.
Qualified applicants must secure an online appointment through the DMW portal at portal.dmw.gov.ph, using the same log-in details as their e-Registration account. The DMW stressed that applications will be evaluated only at the processing venue indicated in the confirmed appointment, and that changes of processing site are strictly prohibited.
Applicants must present the original and one photocopy of the required documents, fastened in a folder and labeled with the RSF number, their name, position applied for, country of destination, PEOS online number, and e-Registration number. Requirements include a passport with at least one year of validity, SSS UMID or Certificate of Membership, PSA birth certificate, a 2026-issued COMELEC voter’s certification, the digital National ID from the E-gov PH app, two 2×2 ID photos, PEOS certificate, diploma or certificate of highest educational attainment, résumé, and a printed copy of the Workers Information Sheet, among others. Former Taiwan workers must also submit a copy of their Taiwan ARC or NHI card.
