Isla Arena’s first UAE Interclub Pickleball Tournament delivered a day of intense rallies, remarkable saves and standout performances on September 6, 2026, at Jumeirah Baccalaureate School, drawing players and spectators together in a shared celebration of the game.
The level of play kept spectators in awe, but what set the atmosphere apart was a crowd that cheered not only for the players they came to support, but for every great play on court. The energy from the sidelines reflected genuine sportsmanship and a growing sense of community around the sport.
In the Women’s division, Ciara Ann Fajardo and Sachi Claudette Benedicto of C2C claimed the title, while Arylle Jake Nifalar and James Gabriel of Pepa B took the Open Category. Each winning pair took home AED 1,000, with runners-up receiving AED 500. Winners and semifinalists also received special gifts from title sponsor Emper Perfumes.
The tournament was made possible with support from QMurphy, Ramam and Sharina Collections, along with official partner Harvest Coffee Vine House.
Organizers acknowledged there is still a long way to go, but said September 6 showed just how far their small dream has come. With appreciation pouring in after the event and many already looking ahead to Season 2, Isla Arena has even more reason to dream bigger.
