What began as a simple dream of building community through sports takes another step forward this Sunday, September 6, 2026, as Isla Arena hosts its UAE Interclub Pickleball Tournament at Jumeirah Baccalaureate School.
The event will welcome 120 players from different clubs and emirates across the UAE, uniting communities under one roof to share the same court and the same passion for the game. Competition runs from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM across two divisions: Women’s Doubles (DUPR under 3.2) and an Open Category (DUPR under 4.0).
Registration is set at AED 180 per team, or AED 90 per player. Organizers have lined up cash prizes, trophies and medals, and what they describe as “more surprises” for participants.
For Isla Arena, the tournament is the realization of the vision behind its name. “Isla represents our Filipino roots. Arena is where people come together,” organizers said, describing a goal that reaches beyond competition — to connect people, create opportunities, and build something that lasts past the final point.
“We started small. We dreamed bigger,” the group said. “Different clubs. Different emirates. One community. One Arena.”
