Parokya ni Edgar frontman Chito Miranda has confirmed he is Dubai-bound, sharing on Facebook that he is set to perform alongside fellow OPM icon Ely Buendia at the Coca-Cola Arena.
In a post published Friday, Miranda greeted fans with “Kitakits bukas sa Coca-Cola Arena,” noting that he is joined by Buendia for the show. He accompanied the announcement with an in-flight selfie — playfully clarifying that the flight attendant pictured with him, Neri, was his seatmate for the photo, while Buendia is his companion for the gig.
Miranda revealed the Dubai concert marks a personal milestone. He plans to perform an acoustic set with his musician friends, calling it the first time he will do so on a stage this big outside the Philippines. He added that he looks forward to watching Buendia’s set afterward. The post drew warm reactions from followers, garnering 1,500 likes within hours.
The show is part of “Ely Buendia and Chito Miranda Live,” billed as a celebration of Original Pilipino Music at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai on August 30, 2026, with doors set for 7:00 PM. The two artists will each headline with their own musicians, production, and setlists — Buendia performing solo material and Eraserheads hits, and Miranda pairing his solo work with beloved Parokya ni Edgar anthems.
Tickets start at AED 199, ranging up to AED 799, and are available through coca-cola-arena.com.
The Dubai concert follows the earlier “OPM Legends” show, which brought Buendia, Miranda, and Journey vocalist Arnel Pineda together at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi on January 10, 2026.
