The Top 10 finalists of Dakilang Manggagawang Pilipino (DMP) sa UAE 2026 have been named, following a demanding deliberation that capped a defining stage of the recognition program’s sixth season.
The finalists were selected on August 23 at Khalidiya Palace Hotel, where the Top 20 nominees — narrowed from an initial pool of more than 200 — appeared before the judging panel. Each nominee shared the personal experiences, sacrifices, and achievements that carried them to the DMP stage.
Now in its sixth season, DMP highlights Filipino workers in the UAE whose stories extend beyond their jobs to themes of perseverance, family, service, and success.
The deliberation panel comprised Daddy Blue (Joselito Echivarria), Pinas Cargo Brand Ambassador and radio presenter; Winston Parandas, a DMP 2025 finalist and co-presenter of DMP 2026; Myla Bijasa, owner of Paluto Restaurant and Bravo Cakes; and Dr. Florence Bueno, Human Resources Director. After hearing all 20 nominees, the panel submitted scores, and the 10 highest-scoring nominees advanced to the final stage.
As part of the program, the Pinas Group of Companies will treat the Top 10 to a series of bonding activities, including a dhow cruise, desert safari, Dubai city tours, and restaurant gatherings, as they prepare for the grand finale.
The final ranking will combine 60 percent deliberation scores with 40 percent online voting, pairing the panel’s evaluation with community support. The program culminates at the DMP sa UAE 2026 Grand Awarding on October 11.
