Ticket supply for this year’s Formula 1 finale in Abu Dhabi is running thin, with organizers pointing fans toward abudhabigp.com to lock in one of the remaining seats before the Formula 1® Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2026 closes out the campaign at Yas Marina Circuit.
That the race will go ahead as scheduled was put beyond doubt by Stefano Domenicali, Formula One’s president and CEO, who tied the Abu Dhabi round to the sport’s broader promise to run its full slate this year. “The calendar is confirmed. There are still a few tickets to be sold in Abu Dhabi… and we stay focused on delivering the calendar we promised at the beginning of the year,” he said. He described the buildup to the December 3–6 event as well advanced: “The preparations are on course, there are still a few tickets in Abu Dhabi to be taken, and everything is progressing very, very well.”
On the ground, promoter Ethara says its attention is fixed on the December weekend. “As promoter of the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, our focus is firmly on delivering another outstanding season finale this December,” said CEO Saif Rashid Al Noaimi, who noted the company is coordinating with Formula 1 and local partners after being named the championship’s Promoter of the Year. “Building on our recognition as Formula 1’s Promoter of the Year, we are working closely with Formula 1 and our partners across Abu Dhabi to deliver an exceptional experience for fans, teams, drivers, officials and partners. Preparations are progressing across every aspect of the event, and we look forward to welcoming the Formula 1 community back to Abu Dhabi.”
The race week itself extends well beyond the track. Yas Island packs the calendar with concerts at Etihad Live alongside hospitality and entertainment programming, framing the on-track action with the nightlife, attractions, and atmosphere that have long made the finale a marquee stop. Additional After-Race Concert acts and new ways to take in the racing are still to be announced.
For the emirate, the race caps a partnership that reaches back more than a decade. “Hosting Formula 1 since 2009 has been a testament to our ambition to bring the world together through exceptional experiences and major international events,” said His Excellency Saood Abdulaziz Al Hosani, Undersecretary of the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi. “The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix creates meaningful opportunities for our tourism, hospitality and events sectors and we are proud to build on this long-standing partnership. We look forward to welcoming international F1 fans once again for the conclusion of a thrilling season.”
