From being among the hopefuls on the court to standing at the top of the podium, TEAM OFW FIRST emerged as the Leg 1 champions of the inaugural T3T 3X3 Basketball Non-Pro Edition, held at the DSF Basketball Court in Al Rigga, Dubai.
Eight teams competed for the honor of becoming the first-ever Leg 1 champion of the T3T 3X3 Non-Pro Edition. Every team stepped onto the court with one goal—to make history. They gave their heart and soul to every possession, every defensive stop, every shot, and every battle under the basket.
In a tournament built specifically to give unnoticed and grassroots ballers a bigger platform, TEAM OFW FIRST delivered the ultimate Cinderella story—rising from the bottom to the top.
The road to the championship was anything but easy. With eight hungry teams fighting for the inaugural crown, every game showcased the intensity, passion, and true spirit of “papawis” basketball. Each team brought its own story, determination, and pride, proving that talent and competitive spirit can come from anywhere.
But when the final game was over, it was TEAM OFW FIRST who stood tallest and secured the Leg 1 championship.
With the victory comes more than just the title. TEAM OFW FIRST has earned a free automatic spot in Leg 2 of the T3T 3X3 Basketball Non-Pro Edition on August 10, giving them the opportunity to defend their crown and continue their journey toward the ultimate championship.
Their victory perfectly represents what the movement stands for: giving ordinary players the opportunity to create an extraordinary story.
The tournament was successfully organized through the collaboration of T3T Sport Management, Phil Pro Consultancies, and CBL, a partnership dedicated to creating platforms for ballers who often go unnoticed and providing them with a stage where they can compete, be discovered, and be celebrated.
