Dubai firm’s scholarship program celebrates sixth college graduate

Pinas Cargo has celebrated another milestone after one of its scholars, Khayan Gialon, graduated from Mabalacat City College with a Bachelor of Secondary Education, major in Science. The achievement marks the sixth college graduate produced under the company’s scholarship program, which was established to help financially challenged but deserving students pursue higher education.

The Pinas Cargo Scholarship Program was founded by Ms. Marlyn Castro, Founder and CEO of Pinas Group of Companies, who launched the initiative after experiencing financial difficulties in pursuing her own education. The program currently supports 22 scholars from different nationalities, including 19 Filipinos, one Indian, one Pakistani, and one South African, reflecting its commitment to providing educational opportunities across diverse communities.

In a message shared by the company, Gialon expressed gratitude for the opportunity to complete a college education through the scholarship, thanking Pinas Cargo for helping students achieve their academic and career goals. The company said it remains committed to expanding its educational support and creating more opportunities for future generations.
