Visitors to the UAE can now secure a tourist visa valid for five years that permits repeated entries without needing a local sponsor or host, under a measure introduced by the General Directorate for Identity and Foreigners Affairs-Dubai (GDRFA).
Applicants will not be tied to any single nationality. GDRFA confirmed the visa is open to travelers from every country, positioning it as a broad entry option rather than one limited to specific passport holders.
Each entry under the visa permits a stay of 90 days, and travelers who wish to remain longer may apply to extend that period by another 90 days. The arrangement caps the combined time spent in the country at 180 days across a single year.
To qualify, travelers must submit a recent photograph of themselves along with a passport that remains valid for no fewer than six months. GDRFA also requires proof of financial standing in the form of a bank statement reflecting a balance of at least $4,000.
The documentation list further includes a valid health insurance policy and confirmation of a return airline ticket covering both legs of the trip.
The visa allows entry into Dubai as well as other parts of the UAE, with the five-year term letting holders return on multiple occasions throughout its validity.
