Turn your Emirates NBD points into free flights with Philippine Airlines

Filipino travelers banking with Emirates NBD have a new way to build up their airline rewards, as the lender’s Plus Points can now be moved directly into Philippine Airlines’ Mabuhay Miles program. Under the conversion rate on offer, a single Plus Point translates into eight Mabuhay Miles, and the arrangement covers any Emirates NBD card that qualifies to accumulate Plus Points.

The transfer runs entirely through the ENBD X app’s Rewards Hub. Customers open the app, select Points Transfer, and pick Mabuhay Miles from the partner list. From there, they supply their Mabuhay Miles Membership ID along with their last name, specify how many miles they want moved, and confirm the request after checking the details. Once submitted, the miles land in the member’s Mabuhay account within four to five business days, though the bank notes that technical or operational factors can stretch that window.

Several conditions govern the process. A customer needs an active Emirates NBD account and a sufficient Plus Points balance, and every transfer has to originate from the ENBD X app. Because completed transfers cannot be undone or refunded except where a verified system or technical fault is confirmed, the bank urges members to double-check their partner membership information before hitting submit. Caps may also apply, with limits set per transaction or per month that shift according to account standing, regulatory requirements, or partner eligibility.

Emirates NBD reserves the right to reverse a transfer and to suspend or block an account should it identify fraud, misuse, or technical irregularities. The offer sits within the wider footprint of Emirates NBD Group, a MENAT financial services provider operating across markets that include the UAE, Egypt, India, Türkiye, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, the United Kingdom, Austria, Germany, Russia, and Bahrain, alongside representative offices in China and Indonesia. The group employs upwards of 30,000 staff drawn from more than 90 nationalities.

One point the bank stresses is accountability after the handover: once points reach the airline, they fall under Mabuhay Miles’ own rules for redemption and expiry, and Emirates NBD accepts no responsibility for how those points are subsequently made available or used. Members are also restricted to personal use of transferred points, with commercial dealing or resale ruled out.
