For the first time, Carlos Yulo and his three siblings shared an international trip as a complete set, with the Olympic champion documenting the Melbourne getaway in a batch of photos posted to social media.
Carlos marked the occasion in his caption, framing it as a milestone the family had not reached before. “Our first international travel together: all 4/4 siblings in one trip, there’s always a FIRST TIME!” he wrote, before thanking his girlfriend, Chloe San Jose, who joined them on the vacation.
The Victorian capital is familiar ground for the couple. San Jose, a content creator and student, is from Melbourne, and her relationship with Carlos began in 2020 as a long-distance one before the two were able to spend time together in person.
Carlos shares his siblings with the wider Yulo family — older sister Jorielgel, and younger gymnasts Eldrew and Elaiza. The reunion abroad lands during an active stretch for the brothers in particular, with Eldrew having moved up to senior competition and the two sharing a floor exercise podium earlier this year at the Asian Championships in Zunyi, China, where Carlos took gold and Eldrew bronze.
The trip continues a recent run of posts in which the two-time Paris 2024 gold medalist has spotlighted time spent with his siblings — moments that have drawn a steady stream of goodwill from followers who have watched the family’s closeness on display.
