Approximately 60 members of the Filipino community participated in the Philippine Nurses Association of Bahrain’s (PNAB) 4th Stress Debriefing Program, which took place at the Migrant Workers Office at Philippine Embassy Manama on 12 June 2026.
Centered around the theme “Hope Beyond Hardships,” the event aimed to enhance the mental well-being and emotional resilience of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs).
This session provided an essential opportunity for participants to contemplate and revitalize themselves, fostering a sense of strength in the face of the challenges encountered while living abroad. Through interactive sharing sessions and supportive engagements, attendees forged connections, articulated their experiences and derived solace from a shared comprehension of their challenges.

Dr. Orville A. Ballitoc, the MWO Labor Attaché, attended the event and conveyed his support for programs aimed at enhancing the welfare, mental health, and overall well-being of overseas Filipino workers. His involvement underscored the strong collaboration between MWO and PNAB in implementing impactful initiatives that provide hope, support, and empowerment to the Filipino community.
The activity was further strengthened through the participation of OWWA Welfare Officer Juvilyn Anns B. Gumabay, whose presence reflected OWWA’s continued commitment to supporting the welfare and well-being of OFWs.
