D&R Elegant Events announced on Wednesday, April 22, that the Cornerstone All Star Concert, which was scheduled to take place in Dubai in May 2026, has been postponed due to “circumstances beyond our control.” The producers said they would do their best to reschedule the show as soon as possible, but no new date has been set.
The announcement was made through the event organiser’s official Facebook page, citing no specific reason for the postponement. The notice is consistent with a broader wave of disruptions that has affected the UAE’s live entertainment calendar following regional tensions earlier in the year.
The concert, billed as one of the most star-studded Filipino shows to hit Dubai, features 16 artists from the Philippines, including Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, award-winning actor-singer Piolo Pascual and his son Inigo Pascual, and singer-actor Sam Milby. Also part of the lineup are Yeng Constantino, Kyla, Jaya, Erik Santos, John Prats, Jason Dy, Zephanie, P-pop girl group G22 members Alfea, AJ, and Jaz, and trending duo El Manu and Jessy Kang.
The show was produced in partnership with Cornerstone Entertainment, a major Philippine talent management firm behind previous All Star Concert tours in the United States.
D&R Elegant Events, which has built a strong track record of Filipino concerts in the UAE, announced the lineup in February 2026 and had indicated that venue and ticket details would follow. The May dates were set before a definitive venue announcement was made public.
The postponement adds to a growing list of events across Dubai and Abu Dhabi that have been delayed amid the disruption caused by the Middle East conflict. Industry figures estimate that roughly 60 per cent of major ticketed events in the UAE were affected, with most organisers opting to reschedule rather than cancel outright. Concert industry observers have said late 2026 and early 2027 could become one of the busiest live entertainment periods the region has seen in years, as rescheduled shows begin to find new dates.
