Passengers whose bookings were cancelled in recent days now have a path forward, as Air Arabia begins a phased return to service from three UAE airports effective today.
Departures will operate from Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah under a flexible schedule tied to regulatory and operational clearances, the airline said. The reactivated network spans 49 destinations across 17 countries in the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Europe — among them Bahrain, Bangladesh, Egypt, Ethiopia, Greece, India, Iraq, Jordan, Kenya, Nepal, Oman, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Syria, Thailand and Turkey.
Travellers affected by earlier cancellations are being offered three options: a one-time free date change within 30 days, a full-value credit voucher, or a complete refund to the original payment method. The airline said affected passengers would be directly notified. Those who have not yet acted on change or refund options remain eligible to rebook.
Seats on resumed routes can be secured through Air Arabia’s website, its mobile app or authorised travel agents.
The carrier described the restart as a gradual one, with the operating plan designed to adjust as ground conditions continue to evolve.
