Philippine consulate deploys team to Dubai airport to aid stranded Filipino travelers

Filipino workers, seafarers, and other passengers awaiting confirmed flights back to the Philippines received direct support from diplomatic officials who conducted an inspection at Dubai International Airport on March 6.

Staff from the Migrant Workers Office in Dubai, already positioned at the airport to track developments and help nationals navigate rebooking options, were joined by a delegation from the Philippine Consulate General headed by Consul General Ambrosio Brian F. Enciso III. Together, the teams spoke with affected travelers from various backgrounds and coordinated with airline and airport staff to assess what departure options remained available.

The consulate urged Filipinos across Dubai and the Northern Emirates who need help to reach the emergency hotline at +971 56 501 5756. Ongoing coordination between the consulate, the MWO, airline representatives, and UAE authorities continues as Manila-bound flight disruptions persist.
