Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has once again turned to his massive online following for a personal decision — this time involving a new four-legged addition to his home.
The Crown Prince of Dubai, who also serves as Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, posted a photo of a male puppy on his Instagram Stories on Wednesday, inviting his followers to take part in naming the pet.
In the post, Sheikh Hamdan asked a direct question: “What should we name him?”
The Dubai royal, who has 17.4 million Instagram followers, is known for frequently sharing moments with animals on his social media platforms, often offering glimpses of his pets to the public.
This is not the first time he has involved his audience in choosing names for his dogs. In an earlier Instagram Stories post, Sheikh Hamdan introduced three dogs and requested name suggestions for “a male and both females.”
He later revealed the selected names, choosing Layl for the male dog and Mizoon and Nahar for the two females, while also thanking followers for their participation with the message: “Thanks to everyone.”
