Shakira confirmed as OFFLIMITS 2026 headliner in Abu Dhabi return

International pop star Shakira is set to take the main stage when OFFLIMITS Music Festival returns to Abu Dhabi on April 4, 2026, with the event scheduled at Etihad Park. The festival marks its second edition with the Colombian artist leading a programme built around a multi-genre, open-format concept.

The 2026 staging continues OFFLIMITS’ format of combining live music with visual art, stage design, and lifestyle elements across multiple stages. Organisers said the approach is intended to move beyond single-genre programming and instead present a full-day experience shaped by contrasting sounds and performances.

Shakira’s Abu Dhabi appearance forms part of her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour, bringing the tour to the Middle East as she continues global dates linked to her latest releases. Her career spans more than three decades, with record sales exceeding 95 million worldwide, alongside four Grammy Awards and 15 Latin Grammy Awards.

Ticket sales for OFFLIMITS 2026 are scheduled to open on Saturday, January 24, at 11:00 a.m. UAE time, with general admission prices starting at AED 595. Tickets will be sold exclusively through the festival’s official platform.

Additional international and regional performers are expected to be announced in the coming months, with organisers indicating that the final line-up will reflect the festival’s genre-blending identity rather than a single musical style.

Commenting on the announcement, Sia Farr, CEO and managing director of Theory Eleven Entertainment, said: “Bringing one of the most influential artists of our time, Shakira, to OFFLIMITS Music Festival 2026 is a proud moment for us. Her global influence and ability to connect with audiences align perfectly with the festival’s open-format identity. This year’s edition builds on the success of our debut, and we are excited to deliver an unforgettable experience for fans on Yas Island.”

The festival’s first edition in 2025 featured acts including Ed Sheeran, OneRepublic, Kaiser Chiefs, Faithless, ARTBAT, Fun Lovin’ Criminals, and Zeyne, helping establish OFFLIMITS as a new large-scale music event on the Abu Dhabi calendar.

OFFLIMITS Music Festival is produced by Theory Eleven Entertainment in partnership with Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and Miral.
