His job paid the bills, but it was the animals that gave his life direction

Caring for animals is rarely part of a job description, yet for many professionals, it quietly becomes the work that defines them.

Jonathan Sibol knows this well. By day, he works as a trainer in the veterinary field in the UAE. Beyond working hours, he has spent the last decade building a life around animal welfare—one feeding round, one rescue call, one lesson at a time.

When care became a calling

Sibol’s advocacy did not begin with awards or public attention. It started with seeing stray cats struggle in his surroundings and choosing not to look away. Over time, that choice evolved into consistent action. From feeding routines to emergency rescues, his work gradually expanded into structured programs that addressed the problem more sustainably. One of his key initiatives is supporting Trap–Neuter–Release (TNR) projects in Abu Dhabi, aimed at humanely controlling the stray population while improving animal health.

His approach reflects both discipline and empathy—traits shaped by years of hands-on experience and eight years working within the pet and veterinary space.

Building systems, not just sympathy

What sets Sibol apart is his focus on education alongside rescue. He builds cat food stations in various locations and volunteers with organizations such as MAAN, AWAD, and Microchipped.ae. The goal is not just to help animals today, but to reduce neglect tomorrow by teaching responsibility. His beneficiaries range from stray animals to new and existing pet owners learning about vaccination, TNR, and proper pet relocation.

As he puts it, “I used my my social media and my podcast to be voice for the voiceless, Encouraging people to be responsible pet owner and taking care stray animals.”

Using visibility with purpose

Recognition has followed his consistency, including awards like Voice of the Voiceless (2024) and Everyday Hero (2023). Yet Sibol treats visibility as a tool, not a destination. His message remains grounded and direct: “I am Jonathan Sibol 10 years Animal welfare Advocate that educate people to be more responsible and guode people about animals and voice for stray animals.”
