Seven time zones will shape the New Year’s Eve program at Global Village, where celebrations will roll through the night on Wednesday, December 31, as the destination stages its signature ‘7 New Year Celebrations in One Night’. The sequence begins with China at 8:00 PM, followed by Thailand at 9:00 PM, Bangladesh at 10:00 PM, India at 10:30 PM, Pakistan at 11:00 PM, Dubai at midnight, and Turkey at 1:00 AM, each marked by fireworks and coordinated drone displays.
The multi-country countdowns form the centerpiece of the evening, offering visitors a way to welcome 2026 several times in one night. A live DJ will keep the Main Stage active throughout the program, while all scheduled shows and performances are included in the standard entry ticket.
Away from the countdown zones, guests can spend the evening exploring Global Village’s 30 pavilions that collectively represent more than 90 cultures. The destination brings together over 3,500 retail outlets and more than 250 dining options, spanning concepts such as the Floating Market, Happiness Street, Fiesta Street, and the Dessert District.
Entertainment options extend beyond shopping and food, with Carnaval featuring more than 200 rides and games. Visitors can also access newer attractions, including Dragon Kingdom, Gardens of the World, and The Little Wonderers, which is designed for younger guests.
To accommodate the extended New Year’s Eve program, Global Village’s three gates will operate longer hours, opening at 4:00 PM and remaining accessible until 2:00 AM. The celebration aligns with the destination’s positioning as a family-focused venue and reflects its ongoing theme of delivering ‘A More Wonderful World’ through shared experiences across cultures.
