An early holiday gathering brought together nearly 200 employees of the Pinas Group of Companies for a Christmas celebration that placed people, not pageantry, at its center. Organized under the leadership of Pinas Cargo, the group’s flagship business, the event gathered staff from its expanding portfolio that includes Pinas Spa and Beauty Center, Pinas Travel, Pinas Gold, Pinas Petals and Blooms, and Pinas Cleaning Solutions.
The venue was transformed into a festive space anchored by a 15-foot Christmas tree, setting the tone for an evening built around shared moments rather than formality. Activities ranged from music and group games to communal dining, with staff members taking part in singing and dancing that underscored the company’s close-knit workplace culture.
A key highlight of the celebration focused on families, as children of employees were invited to take part in a dedicated gift-giving segment. The moment added a personal dimension to the gathering, reinforcing the company’s emphasis on inclusivity beyond the workplace.
All attending employees also received Christmas gifts personally extended by founder and chief executive officer Marlyn Castro. In addition, raffle draws offered major prizes, including a 60-inch smart television and two round-trip airline tickets from Sharjah to any Air Arabia-served tourist destination.
The program continued with the distribution of Christmas bonuses to all staff present, closing the evening on a note that aligned with the company’s longstanding tradition of recognizing employee contributions during the holiday season.
