Authorities in Davao City placed two teenagers under protective custody after officers intercepted them during a drug sting in Barangay 5-A, Bankerohan. The operation unfolded on Tuesday morning in Purok 15, where police recovered six sachets containing what they believe to be marijuana leaves.
Investigators estimate the value of the confiscated material at P372,000. The two individuals involved—identified by police as “Dang,” 16, and “Kaloy,” 17—are both students.
After the operation, the minors were brought to police custody and are scheduled for turnover to the Women and Children’s Protection Desk.
